Our services and programs address the needs of dance companies, independent artists, community dance practitioners, emerging artists, educators, individuals and the broader community. We also act as the state dance industry's primary advocate and advisory representative in regards to government policy, sector planning and industry initiatives.
Ausdance Queensland plays an active part in the development of the sector through direct funding, assistance with grant applications, establishing partnerships for artists with venues, and providing professional development through consultations in individual ADQ Clinic Sessions, mentorships, masterclasses and gatherings including ‘Open Studio’ showings for developmental work in the ADQ Bell Tower program and Dance Week activities. We publicise opportunities and events through our fortnightly enewsletter, The Treadmill. Find out more on the Ausdance QLD website.
