Ausdance Victoria

Ausdance (Vic) services the largest dance community in Australia. Victoria hosts a vibrant dance culture with several contemporary dance companies, hundreds of studios and a myriad of independent artists producing work in the state. Victorians prove to be keen to learn, with the Ausdance (Vic) office daily fielding enquiries from the public who are seeking dance classes and training in all dance styles.

Ausdance RTO 20949

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Ausdance (Vic) is involved in vocational arts training throughout the state. Currently on its scope of registration is VET in the VCE dance (Certificate II in Dance). Ausdance (Vic) provides support to several schools in both Victorian metropolitan and regional settings, as well as interstate. Ausdance (Vic) also offers a short course training arts volunteers entitled; Creative Volunteering- No Limits. This course is being delivered in partnership with Regional Arts Victoria.

Director Kath Papas, works on providing industry services, including professional dance, ATSI and culture specific dance, community dance, regional dance and audience development. Jackie Sherren, Education and Training Manager, focuses on the issues surrounding youth dance, training and education, and teacher development and services.
