Ausdance Queensland represents the interests of Queensland Dance, its artists and its communities – stimulating opportunities for the dance sector to realise its full potential.

As the professional service organisation for dance in Queensland, the association helps to build the capacity of the professional, community, educational and recreational sectors of the State’s dance industry. It works to bring recognition to the many roles that dance plays in the cultural life of Queensland, and to maximise the opportunities and potential presented by the form and its practitioners. This work is inclusive of contemporary and traditional artistic practice, cultural maintenance, community development, audience engagement and education.
