Ausdance Victoria exists to support, enrich, advance and advocate dance in all its forms. Providing services, workshops, forums, advice, professional development and other activities to the industry, Ausdance Victoria aims to support the ongoing growth and expansion of the dynamic and vibrant dance sector that exists across Victoria today.

Ausdance Victoria is the state's peak body & subject association for dance, and as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we are involved in vocational arts training throughout the state. We offer exciting and in-depth Professional Development training for primary & secondary school dance & performing arts teachers. These PD days focus on a range of topics such as:
- Dance for people with special needs
- Hip hop choreography
- First Aid for dance
- Curriculum changes in dance
- Teaching dance to boys

Industry days for VET in the VCE dance students
Ausdance Victoria assist secondary schools and private dance studios to run VET in the VCE Dance in Victoria (a year 11 & 12 dance subject). As there are not enough industry placements available to dance students, we aim to provide students with unique industry experience by partnering with the most talented performing companies, artists and dance professionals in Australia. Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance - Victorian delivery
The Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance is running again in Victoria during 2012. An essential program for current and aspiring dance teachers in Victoria, the skill set is a comprehensive 10-day training program delivered in short blocks during July and August 2012. Dates and enrolment details.
