Ausdance Victoria is the voice for dance in Victoria. We exist to support, enrich, advance and advocate dance in all its forms. Providing services, workshops, forums, advice, professional development and other activities to the industry, Ausdance Victoria aims to support the ongoing growth and expansion of the dynamic and vibrant dance sector that exists across Victoria today.

Professional development

Ausdance Victoria is the state's peak body & subject association for dance, and as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we are involved in vocational arts training throughout the state. Our Dr Dance program offers essential and in-depth Professional Development training for K – 12 school dance and performing arts teachers.

Industry days for VET in the VCE dance students

Ausdance Victoria assists secondary schools and private dance studios to run VET in the VCE Dance in Victoria (a year 11 & 12 dance subject). As there are not enough industry placements available to dance students, we aim to provide students with unique industry experience by partnering with the most talented performing companies, artists and dance professionals in Australia.
