This is the final issue of Brolga be edited by Michelle Potter as she relocated to take up the position of curator of the Jerome Robbins Dance Division at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
This 24th issue contains the usual diversity of subject matter and writing styles, with a peer-reviewed article by Joan Pope about one of our early and influential Dalcroze teacher's, Mary Whidborne. Harry Haythorne—dancer, director and writer—pays tribute to a much loved Mexican-Australian dance personality, Guillermo Keys Arenas, who died in January, 2006. There is an excerpt from a BA (Hons) thesis by photographer Laura Ross about the acclaimed American photographer Lois Greenfield. Thanks to Laura, who also generously provided some of her own images for this issue, including the cover photograph.
